We host a busy programme of performances, meetings and classes, craft fairs and coffee mornings, and private hires from conferences to band practice. From nursery sessions through the Youth Club to Indoor Bowls, the Town Hall hosts events of interest to everybody in the Masham community. The Town Hall is the perfect venue for your wedding reception, affordable and charming. Children's parties are bookable at a special rate for local families. The entire building is accessible (upstairs via a lift) with induction loop facilities in the Main Hall and Small Hall.

We are thrilled to bring two exceptional young Scottish folk / traditional artists to Masham Town Hall on 27th June, as part of a landmark touring initiative from Showcase Scotland Expo.

Six-piece outfit HEISK, named from an old Scots word meaning 'excitable' or 'crazy', are a genuine force on stage. Fusing accordion, fiddle, electro harp, kit and keys with big energy and bold riffs, they twist traditional and self-penned tunes into something fresh and fierce. Their most recent album Headstrong captures that live fire: a set of tunes fusing traditional melodies with funk grooves and pop sensibility.
If you have not seen them live, this is an unmissable chance.

Chloe Matharu is a multi-award-winning Scottish Indian singer-songwriter and harpist from Scotland's West Coast. Drawing on her time as a Navigational Officer in the Merchant Navy, her songs are inspired by the natural world as experienced at sea; a compelling new tradition of maritime folk music, with thoughtful songwriting and superb harp playing augmented by her "voice of milk and honey" (- Anais Mitchell).
"Absolutely incredible" — BBC Radio 4 Woman's Hour.

This concert is part of Scotland Introducing, a landmark initiative connecting English audiences with Scotland’s best emerging folk and traditional artists through a programme of tours across England. We are proud to be part of the programme and to be bringing these artists to Masham.
