As tenants at Fordhall Farm we’re delighted to provide funding for coach travel costs to enable educational visits to the farm by schools across Shropshire and further afield.

Getting children out of the classroom and into nature, is a key part of Fordhall’s ethos, and by Fordhall Farm Events providing the support, eligible schools can now access limited funding, removing a key barrier to outdoor learning experiences.

Hannah Davis, Operations Director of Fordhall Event Catering Ltd. said: "Fordhall Farm Events are hugely passionate about being able to give back to the community - and what better way than through our heart and home - Fordhall Organic Farm! The educational benefits of these visits are long lasting and so important to children, so we're incredibly proud to be able to support them."

We are still not over this incredible Grand National!

Our offering was bigger and better than ever before this year- and it went down a storm with our favourite party crowd.

We had plenty of salt & pepper chicken, duck wraps, tacos, loaded fries and pasture fed burgers- to name but a few!

The atmosphere on site was amazing every day- Liverpool certainly know how to party at the races ✨🪩🐎

We were really excited to see Levy, a leading global hospitality partner, launch the ‘Living System Fund’ last week. This is a new not-for-profit funding initiative supporting ecological projects that give back to nature, engage communities and create social impact.

Levy’s support to the 2026 fund will benefit six projects, each chosen for their commitment to nature restoration and social impact.

We’re thrilled as Fordhall Farm Community Land Initiative’s River Friendly Farming project is one of those! This helps show the relevance of Fordhall Farm to Levy’s supply chain, and the importance of projects like these to the world of catering.

Sustainability has been a key focus for Fordhall Farm Events and Edgbaston Stadium for a long time, plus we both love embracing new technology.

Edgbaston were one of the first major UK sports venues to introduce reusable cups as part of their strategy to eliminate single-use plastics. We use these across our bars too, and it’s really helped reduce the amount of waste on match days.

Together, we’re now improving the customer experience even further by eliminating the cup refund queues. Our collaboration and forward thinking will enable Edgbaston cricket fans to benefit from a fully automated cup return process, one which will be rolled out in spring this year.
