Hi! It’s Summer and today I was thinking about ABBA and their brilliant music! My mum’s first anniversary of her passing is coming up next month and she was a huge ABBA fan (along with Elvis Presley)!

As a kid, I grew up with ABBA being played constantly in the house and their songs bring back many great memories of my early childhood days!

So I put together an ABBA only Top 40 of MY favourite songs for a bit of fun and discussion. I’d love to know what you’d put as your TOP 5 say!

The songs that I like are not just the obvious and best sellers necessarily but are based upon the complexity of the song, the lyrics and message/ story it sends out! Bjorn and Benny were talented songwriters!

I love the films ABBA: The Musicals 1 & 2 and everything about that group! Their music brings joy and sadness in equal measure - and I often get quite emotional (even as a guy) when listening to some of their songs! (‘I Have a Dream’ being one)! Don’t tell everyone that! 😁😁
