🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Meet Jo! 🌟
This week we’re celebrating one of the brilliant people who help make March Summer Festival what it is — our amazing volunteer committee member, Jo, who supports our Marketing & Socials team. Jo Pope

🗣️ In Jo’s own words:
“I am fairly ‘new’ to March Summer Festival — I joined in October last year — although I’m not new to volunteering. After finishing a previous volunteering commitment, I suddenly found myself at a loose end (and with loads on time on my hands) I decided to attend a meeting. It just all seemed to fit at the right time.

Volunteering is about finding the right place for you, and I truly believe there is an opportunity to fit everyone. I’ve also previously volunteered for Sue Ryder Thorpe Hall Hospice, NSPCC, Black Prince Trust, Nene Park and March Christmas Lights. Volunteering is a superpower we all have.”

✨ And here’s the best bit:
Jo’s day job as a Senior Workplace Operations Manager for a global fintech is a world away from festival planning — and that’s exactly what makes her contribution even better. She brings fresh perspective, sharp organisational skills, and a whole lot of heart.

💛 We’re so grateful to have Jo as part of the team.
