JOB VACANCY 🤩

We are looking for an Operations Manager here at The Balloon Lady Weddings and Events

This is the most crucial member of staff to me, and the person that fills the position needs to be perfect as you will fit in with my small business and my family.

I am looking for someone immensely trustworthy, some experience in similar position would be of an advantage but it isn’t essential as the role is about the person for me.

As an Event Operations Manager you will be next in line for any events when I am not around. You will be expected to attend event set ups alone, and manage the team effectively when I am not there.

You will be happy to help with hard graft of collecting items from our storage unit and prep for events, to taking them apart and putting away.

You will be expected to learn every aspect of the business, how to do balloon set ups and weddings alone.

The position is on an 0 hour contract, however regular work is available throughout the year Monday-Sunday. I am happy to show the candidates roughly how many hours have been given to the previous employee over the past year so you can see for yourself how much work is available.

You will be expected to work early mornings and late nights. Weekend working both Saturday and Sunday is non negotiable.

You will have a full UK driving license and happy to drive a large van, alongside your own vehicle at times.

Starting wage for this role is £14.00 per hour.

A little honesty post…

This weekend is going to be a busy one.

Unfortunately, a member of the team has chosen to walk away at short notice, which has left me managing all of this weekend’s setups on my own. As you can imagine, it’s added a fair bit of pressure behind the scenes.

That said, every event booked in is still going ahead, and I’ll be doing what I always do … working hard to make sure each setup looks exactly as it should.

I may be a little slower replying to messages than usual while I’m out setting up, delivering, and collecting, so thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

To all my wonderful customers this weekend, I can’t wait to create something special for you. 💛
