I am looking for someone who can eventually take over and run the flower shop as if it's their own. Dedication and commitment is key. Hours to be negotiated but will need to work every other Saturday and the occasional Sunday. Time off in the week will be given if working weekends.

Florist manager Job Description

A florist manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of a florist shop, including managing staff, ordering and arranging flowers, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for flowers.

Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the florist shop

Schedule staff members to ensure sufficient coverage

Ensure that the shop is fully stocked with fresh flowers, plants, and other related products

Create and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones

Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their floral needs

Manage inventory and track sales data to ensure profitability

Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate prices and secure the best products

Ensure that the shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers

Requirements:

At least 3 years of experience in a florist or related industry.

Strong leadership and management skills to lead a team of florists and assistants.

Excellent knowledge of flowers, plants, and floral design techniques.

Ability to maintain inventory, order supplies, and manage the budget.

Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients and vendors.

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Creativity and attention to detail to create unique and beautiful floral arrangements.

Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies to promote the business and increase revenue

☀️ What a wonderful day for it!☀️

It was a pleasure working with Sheryl to create some extra covered space for her 60th birthday celebration this weekend. Sheryl was unsure about the size, so we visited her to take measurements and discuss the best options. Together, we decided that our Maxi Range 4.5m x 4.5m Mini Marquee would be the perfect choice to ensure her guests stay comfortable, warm, and dry. To complete the setup, we provided carpet flooring, heaters, festoon lighting, and cocktail tables.
