Well, here we are... next Friday at 10am, the Gingersnaps Autumn Online Craft & Gift Market officially opens! 🎉

And we've got some fantastic sellers joining us, with lots of lovely things waiting to be discovered. 🛍️💜

So, our little bit of advice this Bank Holiday weekend...

💷 Don't spend ALL your money! 😂

Although, if payday hasn't quite landed yet, don't worry... we're conveniently opening AFTER the Bank Holiday! 😉😂

You've got six whole days to recover from the weekend spending before you can settle down with a cuppa and have a good old browse from the comfort of your sofa. ☕🛋️

Keep an eye on the event over the next few days because we'll be introducing some of our wonderful sellers and giving you a few little sneak peeks of what's coming! 👀✨

☀️💜 A LITTLE EXTREME HEAT CHECK 💜☀️

Well, we've certainly had a couple of VERY hot days, and tomorrow is looking like it could be the hottest one yet! 🥵☀️

So let's take a moment to check in on each other. ❤️

If you struggle in extreme heat, please take care of yourself. If you can, use today to get things ready for tomorrow – get your shopping done, stock up on cold drinks, get the fans ready, prepare some easy cold meals and make tomorrow as comfortable as possible. 💦🧊

Remember, lots of people struggle in this weather, and there's absolutely no shame in taking it easy. Stay hydrated, find some shade or somewhere cool, and don't push yourself.

💜 Please check on those around you too.
Keep an eye on elderly relatives, neighbours and friends who may be more vulnerable in the heat.

🐾 Our animals need us too. Make sure they have plenty of fresh water, shade and somewhere cool to escape to – and please, never leave an animal in a hot car.

🦔🐦 And don't forget our wildlife. A shallow dish of fresh water in a safe, shady spot can make a huge difference to birds, hedgehogs and other little creatures.

🎄This year we're also introducing our Christmas Extravaganza, running from 6th November until 11th December, alongside our brand new Festive Food Market, taking place from 13th–15th November.

❓️Why online markets?After many years of running physical craft markets and events, we kept hearing similar comments from both buyers and sellers:

"I'd love to come, but I can't."

Whether it was because of health conditions, mobility challenges, childcare commitments, work schedules, transport difficulties, anxiety, neurodiversity, or simply because busy events can feel overwhelming, it became clear that not everyone could access traditional markets.

That's why we brought back the online market concept that had successfully supported small businesses during COVID—creating a space that complements our physical events and makes shopping small more accessible and inclusive for everyone.

Whether you're based in Cornwall, Kent, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, or anywhere in between, we'd love to welcome you to the Gingersnaps community.

🔮 Psychic Rotation Evening 🔮
