Guided tours every Friday at 11 a.m from start of March to End of Oct, going back to 1885 with Raleigh bikes, cars, mopeds, motorcycles, military vehicles & mining museum. Former colliery, Clipstone headstocks and Power House is now a mining museum and function room with 8 acre show ground.

Raleigh has gone in to administration, basically they are bust having lost £30M in 2024. Sad news for such an iconic brand and for those that were employed.
We at Clipstone Headstocks and Raleigh Museum were excited to hear recently of development of an all new bike featuring massive 32 inch wheels but this is now assumed to be history before it made production.
We will continue to celebrate this world famous Nottingamshire brand, Raleigh will never be forgotten and no doubt in future the Intellectual property rights will be purchased from the receiver and used on imported goods, just like MG, now owned by the Chinese government. Lets hope a deal is done to save what is left.
