A little appreciation post for some of the brilliant freelancers in my network this UK Small Business Week ✨

One of my favourite things about running Dotted Lines is the people I get to work with.

Over the years, I've built a trusted network of eventprofs I can bring into projects when the right opportunity comes along. Every one of them runs their own small business, brings their own expertise and adds something different to the team.

And that's amazing because most small businesses don't succeed in isolation. We grow through building relationships and supporting each other.

I'm super grateful for the talented freelancers who have been part of the Dotted Lines journey so far, and I'm looking forward to continuing to grow the Dotted Collective in the years ahead. Thank you all x

Site visiting like we mean it ✨

Flowers, décor, chairs, lighting, layouts… every tiny detail under the microscope 🌸🪑

If anyone needs advice on chair formations, I'm now highly qualified 😜

Including Villa Copenhagen, Glyptoteket , and the stunning SMK - Statens Museum for Kunst (The National Gallery of Denmark) with plenty of inspiration collected along the way.

UK sunshine has taken me straight back to Copenhagen 😎 🚲

After a recent event, I had just enough time before the flight home for a quick cycle through the city.

Working in events often means seeing destinations from a very specific perspective - venues, logistics, timings. The reality is that there isn't always time and space in your schedule to experience them properly.

So when the window does open up, however small, it’s worth taking.

Those unplanned moments tend to be the ones that you remember 🫶

Milan airport was all Winter Olympics heroes & peak performance… Meanwhile, I was carb-loading like it’s a competitive sport. And not one they’d televise🧁

Safe to say this is not how Olympians fuel up 😂

In and out of Milan last week – no behind-the-scenes snaps to share, but some of you can probably hazard a decent guess at what I've been up to.

Massive shout-out to the incredible crew and freelancers who are there for the long haul. I was very much a whistle-stop visitor; they’re the ones putting in the weeks on the ground, making it all happen.

Elite stamina. Just not from the snacks.
