Three years ago today I started this Instagram page and published my first post.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I had just purchased the domain revelandjoyevents.com. I had no idea who my "ideal client" was or what my service offerings should be. I didn't even really want to manage this Instagram page, but I knew that lack of an IG presence would be a lost opportunity in the wedding industry. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I embraced it and stayed true to myself. I didn't listen when others said "curate a feed aesthetic" because it didn't feel authentic to how I wanted to run my business. I unapologetically share my opinions and beliefs. I'm honest and share information that I think consumers should have access to. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, 50% of my clients come from referrals (many from vendors that I've met on this platform), and 20% directly from Instagram.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

In three years I've provided services for 30 amazing clients and lived through a pandemic. My second year of business was 2020 and I only produced three events (thanks, COVID). I quit my day job, niched down my offerings and defined my ideal customer. I am doing what I love every day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

To my best friend Brittany let me start by saying I love you soooo much. From your widow’s peak, to your laugh, to your embodiment of Abby, oh my josh, I haven’t found a thing I didn’t love.

Since I first heard about this Brittany girl my junior year in highschool, I decided that was who I wanted to be with. No matter how impossible it was at that time and for everyone here, know that it was seemingly impossible.

Being able to call you my girlfriend, fiancée, and now wife has been win after win because having you is having everything.

We have overcome so much in our 6 years and even before we were together and I truly believe with you by my side we can conquer anything life throws at us.

It’s rare to find someone that can make you laugh everyday, will let you put your cold feet on them, enjoys your dancing and made up songs no matter how obnoxious, and can tolerate your crackhead energy at 12am when they want to go to bed, but with you I have found all that and more.

The people here in the face of Covid supporting us and showing us love proves that we are where we’re meant to be and have what we need to be successful and fall back on whenever we need it. I can’t wait to say “my wife”, to go on our first trip as a married couple, to see you become a nurse, and to have a little one with you. We have so much ahead of us and I’ve never been more excited to wake up each day and see what the world has in store because I have you by my side.

I promise that I will be there for you through sickness, and in health, the good times, and the bad times no matter what and as long as we both shall live. I love you (Repost from )
