We are delighted to announce that we’ve been nominated again for the North West Wedding Awards 2024! We had the honour of winning in 2021!

We’re again asking for your help to win….

We've some exciting news to share....

Last week we were honoured to win North West Wedding Venue of the Year! We're all absolutely over the moon....and still full joy!

The last 18 months have been challenging for all our couples and our team. It's been our absolute pleasure to support with plans for everyone's special day, and to come away at the end of the season with this accolade really does mean the world! 🌎

We know that people must be able to put their trust in a venue to help organise their special day. To be have been given that trust, especially over the last 18 months, is a huge honour, and we're so glad we could contribute to everyone's special day and help make some memories. ❤️❤️❤️

We are looking to recruit Hospitality staff, who can provide excellent customer service to University students, staff and visitors.

We are looking for polite and friendly people with a positive and professional attitude to work within our team on a range of hospitality, events and dining on campus. This diverse role will have the opportunity to work within some of our outlets on campus, as well as support hospitality, events and weddings across the campus.

B A C K I N T H E B I S T R O…..
After 466 days of being closed, our beautiful old science library opened its doors once again yesterday for a lovely wedding ceremony and celebration…..484 days since we last hosted one on 29th February 2020!!

So lovely to have people back in the Bistro to create some special memories. Congratulations once again Andrew and Kamil! 🥂🍾

After a long 456 days…..we got to hold our first wedding on Sunday since February 2020.

The sun was beaming, the setting was beautiful in our Council Chamber and Museum, and it was great to be back making happy memories again.

All covid-secure, following current guidelines, it was lovely to finally be able to welcome people back into our venues for such a special day!

Congratulations once again to Alex and Catherine from all of our team!

We always get asked if there are any limitations on entertainment for the evening party.....and just to prove options are limitless - here's a treat from a few years ago....

Only the wedding couple and a few of our team knew about this surprise....the music started, everyone was intrigued and then up he came in the lift....Elvis was in the building! Enjoy....

It's not just the buildings in the Old Quadrangle that are great for wedding photos....you're spoilt for choice across the campus!

Here...the Samuel Alexander Building provides a striking backdrop!

Opened in 1919 to accommodate what was the Faculty of Arts, the neoclassic architecture, with marble white pillars, now houses the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures.

Stepping through the Queen's Arch and into the Old Quadrangle, you'll see the original buildings of Owens College - a predecessor of today's University.

The Quad, as it’s affectionately known, is made up of the John Owens Building, the Beyer Building, the Christie Building and Whitworth Hall.
