Choose your player: Detroit edition.

Since our inception we’ve been lucky enough to host some of the most revered pioneers, legends and straight up icons of the electronic music world hailing from the Motor City. The birthplace and the Petri dish for the sound we all know and love, from DJ Bone to Kevin Saunderson, Juan Atkins and Detroit Stingray

All roads lead to Amber’s on the 1st August for a very special night of techno in its purest form.

Thank you to all the DJs who came down earlier this month:






brought a night of deviation - a sound that shifted across the dance floor. Oddities, heaters and everything in between, records spun to keep the crowd on their toes. And what records were played.

Ivan Smagghe and XDB delivered a considered set of rolling minimal, sludgy chuggers and a conversation between one another that had those curious enough to come through to listen in its steady grip. Proceeding where drawn by Ells & Bobby Scallop warmed perfectly into the long summer night.

Room Two at Amber’s at its best. On to the next.
