Multi award winning DJ Andy Murphy has been a very well respected professional wedding DJ for many years and enjoys lots of referral based work, working in small intimate venues, right up to large venues, for weddings and corporate events. His professional attitude to his Djing work and clients is first class and he is extremely receptive to brides and grooms who are very particular about their music. Andy works closely with all his clients and has no problem with receiving and working with requested play lists. Andy also has experience with other types of events, including bar mitzvahs, corporate events and Asian weddings. He is equally happy performing at all other forms of celebrations. Andy is comfortable at playing a wide range of music from the 50's right up to the present day. From indie anthems to old school anthems, 70's disco, 80's school disco and is very happy to accommodate any type of request list including ,Bila, Bhangra, Irish, Celi. Andy is fully self contained with industry leading sound and light equipment and is available for bookings now. He has all the relevant PAT testing certification along with full public liability insurance. Andy is also very happy to liase with wedding venues to discuss the set up arrangements, access and familiarise himself with the venue. I’m absolutely PROUD to announce that I’ve been chosen as a judge for the The Wedding Industry Awards 2027!

As a wedding DJ, I know just how much hard work, passion and attention to detail goes into making a couple’s wedding day bloody brilliant — so being asked to help recognise the best in the business is a huge honour.
With thousands of couples taking part in the awards, it’s the couples themselves who help shine a light on the suppliers who go above and beyond. And with such high standards, you really have to earn your place!
I’m genuinely excited to see the talent, creativity and dedication from wedding suppliers across the industry. From DJs and bands to photographers, venues, florists and planners — there are some seriously talented people out there.
I’ll be looking at what makes suppliers stand out, what makes couples rave about them, and ultimately what makes someone truly deserving of that Wedding Industry Awards recognition.
Very proud. Very excited. And yes… probably going to be VERY hard to keep my DJ opinions out of it! 😂🎶
