Happy Makers is all about Art, Craft and Messy Play for Creative Little Minds

Every week during term time we run art sessions for 1-5 year olds. And if your little one has a birthday coming up then why not celebrate with a Happy Makers Arty Party! • Experience a wide

variety of materials and techniques - painting, drawing, sticking, cutting, colouring and printing

• Make a choice of creations to take home

• Develop communication skills - sharing time with story/songs

• Learn about the world with seasonal weekly themes

• Help to prepare little ones for school - themes linked to Early Years Curriculum

• Enjoy messy fun with no clearing up!

• All sessions run by local Mums (qualified teacher and theatre designer)

Sessions are £5.00 per session.

Here at Happy Makers HQ we are delighted to announce the arrival, on 4th January, of Nancy Rose! Weighing in at 6lb 1oz, Mum and daughter doing great. (I've just had a little cuddle, she's gorgeous!) Happy New Year, everyone!

Hi everyone, thanks for a really fun week! And thank you also for the warm wishes and support you have shown since we posted about returning to a booking system. It is much appreciated! Now, we still have spaces on Thurs and Fri. We would love you to join us all the way to Xmas, that's just 10 sessions away, and we have some amazing themes along the way, including Halloween, bonfire night, Xmas cards and reindeer masks! The cost would be £50, but don't forget, if you can't make your session you can come to one of the other classes, so nobody misses out! To all our lovely Chorlton Mummies, Daddies and Carers, (and Didsbury friends too), As you all know we have tried so hard to accommodate a 'drop-in' system over the past year but unfortunately it is not working for us and we may have to close the sessions. We completely understand that other things crop up or simply it is a sunny/rainy day, but we either have crazy sessions or hardly anyone that we have over prepared for and which can't cover the room hire. We are aware that all the dance/music/swimming groups usually have a termly booking, so hope you understand. As of next week all sessions in Chorlton will be an 11 week booking till Xmas. It's absolutely fine to do any of the Happy Makers days if you can't make your session. We really hope you understand and will support us with this change. We remain the only arty playgroup, no franchise and would love to keep inspiring creativity in Chorlton and Didsbury!

Roll up, roll up, Ladies and Gentlemen, Happy Makers starts again this week! SADLY WE ARE HAVING TO CANCEL THE MESSY BABIES CLASS ON THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS, but the Arty Toddlers class for 18mths-4yr olds will run as usual on both those days at 10.30am. Can't wait to see you all!

Hello, hope you are all enjoying a lovely summer break! Just a quick heads up about the changes to Happy Makers, when we start again w/c 11th sept.

Messy Babies is moving to Thurs and Fri at 9.30am at St Clements. And to make room the Arty Toddlers class will be starting a little later at 10.30-11.30am on both of those days.

The Didsbury Arty Toddlers class will stay the same at 10am.

Hopefully that's all crystal clear, but if not just drop us a message here! I've cleaned out the glue pots and topped up the glitter, see you all soon!

Message to all our Wednesday Messy Babies, we are having to cancel the class tomorrow (24th) sorry for the short notice, you now have a 2 week half term, classes resume on June 7th!
