Alive & Steppin' We are a Dubstep/Bass event based in Manchester, and are here to push the sound we love for those wh Dubstep/Bass event.

We fully focus on the 140 BPM bass music sounds, and are here purely for our love of this music. Expect to hear mainly Dubstep, Dub Reggae, and Grime at our events, with every area of bass music covered at some point during the nights. We're excited to continue to provide you with the sounds you want to hear.

Kromestar made Kalawanji in 2004. Pinch was the first to ask for it, and many DJs asked for it after him. He wouldn't give it anyone. Mala asked twice, he wouldn't give it anyone. On the third time of asking, Kromestar let Mala have it. "I'm starting a label". The rest is history.

Thank you again to everyone who came on Friday, it was our favourite event to date. Watching Kromestar drop Kalawanji for the first time since 2008 and you lot going mental will stay with us forever. All the DJs were incredible, onwards and upwards
