Your first wedding dress appointment should feel exciting, not overwhelming 🤍

After years of helping brides find the one, these are 5 things I wish every bride knew before she started shopping.

✨ You don’t need to know exactly what you want
✨ Choose your entourage wisely
✨ Don’t stress about having the “perfect” underwear
✨ You really don’t need to visit every bridal boutique
✨ And YES… you absolutely can find your dress at your very first appointment!

My biggest piece of advice? Choose the boutique as carefully as you choose the dresses.

The right stylist, the right environment and feeling comfortable enough to be completely yourself can make such a difference to your experience.

Bridal Week… you were something special 🤍✨

Yes, we go to find the most incredible dresses for our brides… but it’s also the people who make this industry so special. 🥹

I’ve spent the last few days surrounded by some of the most amazing industry friends, designers and bridal people — learning, laughing, celebrating and coming home feeling SO inspired.

From incredible catwalks ✨
to celebrating 35 years of Bridal Buyer 🥂
to training with Maggie Sottero at the Stylist Summit 🤍
…and SO many laughs in between!

I feel incredibly lucky to work in an industry I genuinely love, alongside people who inspire, support and cheer each other on.

So grateful for every friendship, every conversation, every bit of knowledge shared… and every glass of fizz along the way. 😂🥂

Harrogate, you’ve filled my cup. 🤍

Now I’m coming home inspired, excited and VERY ready for everything we have planned for SAS Bridal. ✨

Harrogate Bridal Week 2026… you were a DREAM 🤍✨

A little look at what happens behind the scenes when we go wedding dress shopping for YOU! 🥂

From catwalks and rails full of incredible gowns, to meeting with our designers, choosing new accessories and finding those “we HAVE to have this at SAS” dresses… every single piece is chosen with our brides in mind.

And we LOVED taking you along with us! Your messages, votes and opinions genuinely helped us while we were choosing — we love knowing what you want to see hanging on the rails at SAS. 🤍

We’ve laughed, walked approximately a million steps 😂, had a few glasses of fizz and, most importantly… bought some absolutely INCREDIBLE new dresses for our 2027 & 2028 brides.

Now the countdown begins until they start arriving… 👀✨

We’re going wedding dress shopping… and you’re coming with us! 🥂👰🏼‍♀️✨

Tomorrow we’re heading to Harrogate Bridal Week to choose the next generation of gorgeous gowns for our SAS brides 🤍

This is where we meet the designers, see the brand-new collections, spot the trends before they hit the boutiques and, most importantly… choose YOUR future wedding dresses. 🥹✨

And this year, we’re taking you along for the ride!

Expect plenty of BTS, first looks at brand-new dresses, accessories, catwalks, designer appointments, a-lot of champagne 🥂 and no doubt some Harrogate adventures along the way! 😂

Basically… if we see it, you’re seeing it too. 👀
