IT'S MY 34th BIRTHDAY!

I'm taking some time off until Monday but thought I'd jump on the bandwagon with this. It's the most fun the social media manager has had in ages 🤣

To all attendees and suppliers who attended the yesterday!

It was so lovely to meet all you lovebirds and have lovely, relaxing chats about your upcoming nuptuals. Supplier details have been sent out, along with my brochure, and here's a cute pic of us all at the end of the day.

Next fairs are OCT 4th MCR and 1st NOV LPOOL, then I'll be taking a well needed year off.

IT'S TODAY!

There will be tickets on the door for BOTH sessions, so pop over whenever you like. (12 and 2) Just £5 with a free fizz or nosecco.

We can't wait to welcome you into one of the coolest venues in Manchester! (first floor that is, not ground floor!) Whether you're at the start of your planning process or the end, it doesn't matter, there's something for everyone!

I've already planned a wedding in New Century and trust me, it's the t**s.

There's food and drink available, kids are welcome in for free, doggos welcome too. We have over 25 amazing suppliers waiting to chat to you about your big day, and we have 3 different live music acts on throughout the day. Free confetti too ;)

Easily accessible by bus and tram, and there's a car park right next to it on Miller Street. Buzzing!

Ezra's Confetti is a charming family-run business with a heartwarming origin, founded in 2024 by young entrepreneurs Ezra (then aged 6) and Ivy (then aged 3). What began as a small, playful idea quickly blossomed into a thriving venture, offering beautiful, fully biodegradable confetti in a wide range of colours to perfectly complement any wedding theme or special occasion.

Starting small with just simple confetti, the business has since grown to include a delightful range of products such as custom confetti bags and themed stickers, all designed with the same love, creativity, and eco-conscious values that sparked the journey.

Not only is our confetti eco-friendly and lovingly handmade, but it’s also more affordable than big-name retailers, and, we believe, far better in quality and care. Every item is crafted with attention to detail and a touch of childhood joy.

THE VENUE!

New Century Hall is an exquisitely restored open-plan events hall for parties, conferences, gigs, exhibitions, conventions, private dinners and more. The venue can hold up to 1,300 people.

The careful renovation of the Hall allowed for a number of the original mid-century features to remain. These include the sprung maple dance floor, wooden panelling and original stage design & architecture. The Hall boasts a restored ‘disco ceiling’ & lighting installation, creating a responsive and immersive environment for all occasions.

New Century Hall was originally a dancehall in the 1960s, hosting acts including none other than The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Tina Turner & The Bee Gees. It was embraced in the 1980s by the Manchester ‘Mad-chester’ scene & New Century fostered such local talent as The Stone Roses & Happy Mondays.

The venue has a flexible layout that can cater for ANY wedding, due to a state-of-the-art sound system, production and lighting facilities.

The coolest wedding I've ever had the pleasure of planning was in this venue. Nuff said.

I’m American by birth and Mancunian by marriage and I’ve have been working as a full-time wedding photographer since 2015 - I live and breathe weddings and have shot over 250 beautiful celebrations in that time.

Having over a decade of experience means I come with a very specific skill-set, only applicable to weddings: I can fasten 1000 tiny buttons in 30 seconds flat, pin a buttonhole onto a wiggly groomsman in 10 seconds, I know how to arrange & remove a veil, when the optimal window is for golden hour portraits & how to hold a bouquet when you walk down an aisle.

I’m your hype girl, your venting confidante, but most importantly, I’m your Time Machine. Your photos should catch what you miss and transfer you back to how it all FELT. That should tell the full story of your wedding day in a way that is authentic, creative, & discreet. I am here for the romance of it all.
