Over many years of taking photography portraits I have come to realise that my best work comes from when the subjects do not know they are being photographed, being completely themselves with someone they love (be it a soul mate, family member or even on their own). This is not always easy as people now seem to have a sixth sense even when a camera phone is pointed at them. I gene

rally get a bit 'daft' when people know I'm there just to get that natural smile or laugh instead of the standard 'say cheese' fake grin. Many thanks
