So following on from my last post… don’t miss a mammogram… Fingers crossed I’m next in line for a good recovery. Routine mammogram picked up a tumour 4 weeks ago, ultrasound scan and biopsy followed 2 weeks later, results a week ago and surgery scheduled for Friday 08/10. Prognosis is looking positive so far. The tumour couldn’t be felt by me or the expert medics so the routine screening/mammogram was a godsend. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’m doing fine, calm and pragmatic. It’s in the hands of the medics and they are absolute experts in their field. I seek no sympathy. Any irreverent humour? yes please. Silver lining ? The 10 day isolation prior to surgery means I’m not looking for fuel for the car😆
