A HUGE congratulations to the Aurelia Quartet, made up of our students Immie, Chloe, Zoe and Fleur, who recently curated and performed Music for Safer Spaces at All Saints Church, Runcorn Old Town, in support of local asylum seeker charity Trinity Safe Space 👏
From securing grant funding from the local council to planning the programme, creating new chamber arrangements, performing, and even organising afternoon tea, the girls led every aspect of the event themselves 💪
The concert welcomed many first-time classical music audience members and raised an impressive amount of money for Trinity Safe Space.
This is a fantastic example of musical excellence and entrepreneurship, and the project reflects the values we champion at Chetham's - using music to make a positive difference in the wider community 💡
Congratulations to all four students on an inspiring achievement 🧡
