Three years ago I sat in a teepee in a workshop at festival and felt some magic. I was in a very dark place at that time and it was like the light (or the colour) started to creep back in.

I knew that this was where I needed to be, that there were glimmers of a life not yet lived to the full.

I took the feeling and fully immersed myself in colour, a new way to look at the world where there were no wrong answers just colourful learnings. I deep dived into my 20 years of working with colour accross my career and slowly evolved.

Happy Place came to me, because that’s what happens when you stop chasing and find your flow.

Now my soul purpose is to help as many people as I can to find colour in their lives again, shift their energy and balance their wellbeing. Just like I continue to do on a daily basis.

This is lived experience meets expert knowledge and I can’t wait to help everyone this weekend to discover their own soul shades.

I wasn’t going to post this, because, it’s not full colour… but I wanted to let you know that not every day is bright and breezy. And thank you to for doing the same yesterday, it really inspired me to find my voice.

I shared this in my colour club group yesterday and the response was huge.

Because it’s real… and we all have days that we want to retreat.

I’m more than aware that socials can be a whirlwind of best lives and glossy images, but we need to see the flip side.

Yesterday was one of those days, I was exhausted, wearing way too many hats, and far too many brain tabs open.

So I chose black. It’s not a colour, as it contains no light, it has no vibration and yesterday it was just the invisibility cloak I needed to rest.

I sat with my feelings, didn’t colour them in, and took stock.

Then slowly but surely replenished my energy with my green soul shade. I did my green meditation last night, had a bath with green oils and went to sleep when my body told me to.

We all have days when we feel off colour, and it’s totally normal, I think the trick is not to get stuck in the darkness. I did for a long time, and if you are, I see you and I feel you. A flying full colour visit to .uk yesterday, bringing the colour magic to fashion show- we always have a giggle and it was fab to catch up with friends old and new… tag yourself if you were there so I can give you a follow!

Booked a last minute room at the earlier this week…. For the colour… and it didn’t disappoint! I’m not sure many people book their hotels by colour but I’m here for it!!

Interiors literally hold us, the vibrations of the colours, smells and textures create a frequency that either attracts or repels us… worth thinking about in your own home!

I wanted a full spectrum colour experience and this little work of art in a concrete jungle gave me just that.. thank you for being so welcoming. Not an add btw just a lovely little find 🌈✨

The weirdest things start to happen when you understand the power of colour… it’s a bit like like landing in Oz- everything’s got a bit more zing- like someone cranked up the brightness on my dads old telly (I did once and it got stuck- cue having to shield our eyes from the glare of Mr Blobby on a Saturday night)

The other day I sat in my purple dress only to find that my cushions were its perfect magnetic pair… don’t know what that means? You will do.. and when you understand how colour can shift your energy, you never look at the world in the same light.

Imagine doing your work experience with a boss who’s breaking the mould, doing it her way, and building a colourful movement that’s FIRST to market…

It’s a far cry from my work experience – back in 1996 at the AA, where the dress code was black suit, white blouse, and court shoes. 😬 I can still feel the polyester…

So here’s my rally cry to fellow female founders:
Let’s show the next generation what it really looks like to create change, ruffle feathers, and bring bold ideas to life. Let them see the creativity, the chaos, the courage. Because if she can see it, she can be it.

Imagine… it’s 2014 and you have just given birth to your much longed for baby girl… you surround her in vibrant colours, ALL the pinks, all the yellows, the full spectrum.

And then I look at me…. Head to toe in black… I gave all my colour away… because it was the most natural and most wonderful thing to do.

It wasn’t wrong, but a part of me shifted- stepped back from my own path and became smaller to focus on others.

It happens all the time, to me, to you, to everyone, it’s part of life.

But when you are done with living in the shadows, disconnected from yourself, unsure of who you even are any more, I’m here to show you the way back to you again through the power of colour.

Sometimes you’ve just got to put yourself where you want to be…. Stop talking about it and just do it. That’s the mode I’ve activated now- I’m on my do it era.

The colour for this era? 🧡 orange. The colour that I was told wasn’t for me- the one to steer clear of, the one that would make me look rough.

The thing is, I knew that I needed it, long before I worked in Colour Healing. It was a vibe that I craved… but always at a distance. No wonder… it’s the very shade that connects us to our gut feeling, fires our creativity and give us the fuel to go for what we want.

So what colour are you craving today? Maybe give it a whirl, you never know where those vibes may take you…
