Hire: https://www.birchcommunitycentre.co.uk/venue-hire/ Welcome to the Birch Community Centre's Facebook. Birch Community Centre and its services are managed by the Birch Community Association, which was established as a registered charity, No. 506244, in 1976 and it has been running the centre ever since. The object of Birch Community Association is to work with the local community and other vol

untary and statutory organisations in a common effort to improve education, recreation and leisure opportunities for the local community. To achieve this the Association aims to maintain and improve the 100 year old building making it more able to meet current community needs and adapt to the future; to serve the neighbourhood and celebrate community for a further 100 years and more. Our children's projects are provided to support local children and families; our recreation, leisure and community classes are for local adults to enjoy. The availability of the centre as a venue to hire allows people to have community and family celebrations in their locality. Manchester City Council and Sure Start have been wonderful partners providing revenue grant funding to support all our activities and services to date. Over the past two years the original building has also undergone major renovation and been made more energy efficient thanks to generous capital grant funding from The Co-operative Foundation, The Tudor Trust and Biffaward.
