How long can the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 survive on surfaces?

“A recent study found that the COVID-19 coronavirus can survive up to four hours on copper, up to 24 hours on cardboard, and up to two to three days on plastic and stainless steel. The researchers also found that this virus can hang out as droplets in the air for up to three hours before they fall. But most often they will fall more quickly... In addition, wash your hands for 20 seconds with soap and water after bringing in packages, or after trips to the grocery store or other places where you may have come into contact with infected surfaces.”

Theirs no doubt these are tough and turbulent times for people, the country, the world. At Scrivfests we just want to let the elderly and vulnerable people know we are their for you!

Last night we was in Co-op and we met Ann, she told us she shopped at night to avoid the hustle and bustle of shoppers, only to day on day struggle to for the essentials and was met with empty shelves.

We took her number and the today we delivered Ann some bread and milk, it’s only a couple of quid, but that meant she could have her “egg on toast and a brew” and those were Ann’s words! We’ve left her our number and will do what ever we can to make sure she gets the essentials.

Please please please if you see an elderly or vulnerable person, help them out! It doesn’t have to be their and then! Just do what you can, it makes the world of difference and don’t Raid the shelves! I promise you they’ll appreciate it and together we can make a difference! 👊
