How To Host A Successful Sleepover π
β¨ Invite children who you know will be comfortable sleeping at your home.
β¨ Our beds are big, they are made for adults. So to ensure there's no disappointment on the day, measure your space to ensure our set-up will fit as, while we like to say we work magic, we cannot move large items of furniture or knock down walls. If the beds do not fit, they do not fit.
β¨ Clear your designated sleepover room of any clutter and remove precious items that your child or you, may be protective of.
β¨ Remember to buy breakfast. Bagels, chocolate spread and chopped fruit are a good choice.
β¨ Prepare yourself for a late night, it's a sleepover after all, but let your guests know what your expectations are at the start. Tell them what time lights out will be, so they know what they are working towards.
β¨ Don't forget the snacks. Snacks are an integral part of any sleepover.
β¨ Crafts or pamper sessions work well in conjunction with our sleepovers but there are lots of activities you could incorporate to move the event along fluidly. Think painting nails and face masks or jewellery making or a gaming session on an Xbox.
β¨ Pizza makes a good meal for your sleepover guests. Home-cooked are a cheap meal or if you want to splurge, takeaway pizza can be served straight from the box saving you washing up and effort.
β¨Factor your guests laying in later than usual in the morning. Do not expect them to be up and full of the joys of spring at their usual early hour. While they will have had a comfy sleep (that much we guarantee), they will have undoubtedly had a lot less sleep than normal. So plan for a lazy morning. Let them lull about, enjoying breakfast on their trays in the tents. Everything can be cleaned so don't worry about that!
β¨Relax! A sleepover party should be a stress free event. We do all the set up and take down and we can even arrange extras for you like craft activities or pamper kits. All you need to do is remind the kids to sleep. And maybe pour yourself a couple of glasses of prosecco.
