Every Thursday from 8-10pm UK time on www.fabradiointernational.com I've been in and around the Manchester music scene for 25 years.

My background is Hip Hop, Soul and Funk and in the late 90s I used to host monthly nights at Elemental and The Music Box called Style Warz. I also hosted nights in the late 00s in various venues in the North West, where I would DJ along with acts I booked to play live. Since then, I've run my own PR and radio plugging business for many years, but I still DJ out (currently at a monthly event called

The Reason Why at The Peer Hat as well as recent slots at Night & Day and The Hip Hop Chip Shop). I've also got my own radio show on Fab Radio based in Chinatown called 'Whaddyagot', which runs for two hours every Thursday from 8-10pm. Today marks three years since we very sadly lost the legend that was MF DOOM.

DOOM wasn’t just my favourite rapper, he was much more than that, he turned Hip Hop on its head and created his own style and a whole scene. His trademark drawl sounded like nothing else I’d heard before, not to mention his amazing production skills which he certainly doesn’t get enough credit for.

It wasn’t just his style, it was his content too, everything he had any part in sounded better because he was a part of it, a true innovator with the Midas touch.
