Following an initial face to face meeting, in 2024 between heads of associations.

The IBKO is proud to stand as a mutual part of the Ring-Sports Board of Control (RBOC) — alongside:

• WKO
• WKA International
• WKC
• IMAC
• WSMA

All working together with one shared purpose:

Safe, structured, and properly regulated combat sports.

Combat sports have grown rapidly, but with that growth came inconsistency.

Different standards. Different expectations. Different levels of safety.

RBOC represents a step forward — bringing organisations together, not to compete, but to align.

✔ Clear Medical & Safety Standards
✔ Consistent Governance across events
✔ Shared responsibility for athlete welfare

This is what the sport needs.
Not division — direction.

Respect to every association/organisation thats involved in building something that protects the future of ALL combat sports.

One aim. One responsibility. One standard — Safety.

Any other Associations/Organisations wishing to come on board are of course welcome.

Bringing high quality training courses for trainers and seconds for martial arts based ringsports, through the ringsports board of control around the UK.
