After a long break we’re back at Eastern Bloc with Paris-based who’s been making waves with her recent album ‘Percussive Reverie’ on Annulled Music

In her DJ sets, Aerae weaves threads of techno, dnb, and more at their most tribal and hypnotic, building sets around the sensations of “passing through different states, different sensations, and encounters.” She describes her sets in terms of physical spaces, atmospheres and the characters inhabiting them, creating fleeting scenes where time becomes elastic and malleable, leaving listeners in a state of elevated delirium

Also joining is founder who will be sharing his signature deep sound that has been honed over the years inside the EB booth and beyond

On Saturday 10th August we return to with a full line up of Manchester talent with a soft spot for the deep and hypnotic side of techno

Joining us for their first ever vinyl only set is .healey.mcr who recently joined our London friends for a session in Corsica Studios. Tom’s had a string of well received releases on SYXT, Canticle, Duplicity and Influenced Records, which have helped land him gigs across the UK and Australia

We’re also lucky to have Duts from the .mcr crew who’s an EB regular and well known across the north and south scenes. Anyone who’s seen Duts play or heard his mixes knows he’s got an ear for quality tunes across the spectrum

tops this lineup off with his unique blend of deep and soulful selections that have become more refined over recent years having supported local and international legends such as Edit Select, Laura BCR, Means&3rd and Jin Synth

Jin Synth, a sound artist and DJ based in London, seamlessly blends various textural and experimental analogue noise elements into her music. At the core of Jin’s artistry lies a masterful fusion of diverse textures and experimental layers, all meticulously woven into her sonic tapestry. With her synthesisers, modular, and an array of microphones primed for capturing the world’s ambient sounds, Jin Synth embarks on a journey that defies convention

In the realm of DJ performances, Jin sets out to craft an ethereal, meditative ambience that transports her audience to an abstract realm

Having conquered Berghain and recently toured Japan, we’re excited to have another pair of experienced hands from the roster take the controls

The word ‘Kairogen’ created by the artist, comes from the Greek word ‘kairos’ (the right, critical or opportune moment) and ‘gen’ (to generate or create)

This translates as; ‘the opportunity to create’, which is intended to inspire the artist and others to harness their imagination and generate their own conditions for their creativity to bloom

The Glasgow-based producer first came across music production whilst studying at art school, after a lecturer suggested creating a sound piece to fit alongside an installation project. Her love of club culture inspired artistic research focussed on Detroit techno and electronic music as an art form

In the coming years she would spend her time making album art & working in Sub Club, gaining an understanding of the electronic music scene and developing her own musical tastes

Working in a nightclub has had a significant effect on her own work, finding that the influence of peak-time music has led her to seek out sounds that fit round the edges of dance music, inspired by the drama and tension in DJ sets and leaning towards the ambient/experimental side of the electronic spectrum

For the artist, there has always been a strong passion for both visual art & music. A process of figuring out how to practice both of these and where they fit. This tension has made possible a space of endless exploration and a desire to create works that blur the boundaries between genres and contexts, a practice which only continues to evolve

In just over 2 weeks’ time will be joining us for an unforgettable night at NQ’s

Arnaud’s career dates back to 1990 when he began managing record shops and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. His residency at Paris’s Queen and memorable sets around the world perfected Arnaud’s DJ skills, earning him his spot in the worldwide scene where he continues to this day to be a prominent figure

Arnaud is releasing his own music and confirmed talents such as Terrence Dixon, Oscar Mulero, ROD, Jonas Kopp, Ryan Elliott, Samuli Kemppi, Zadig, Antigone, Tensal, Exium, Savas Pascalidis, Antonio De Angelis or Birth Of Frequency. Almost all the releases have been played or charted by artists such as Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, DVS1, Ben Sims, Rodhad, DJ Deep, Chris Liebing or Dave Clarke

Arnaud is one of the true veterans of the London underground music scene. Having been associated or played at every major techno party over the last ten years, Arnaud has kept himself at the very forefront of the scene
