Morty cade has been resurrected with fresh hardware and swapped out Coinops for Retrobat. Also replaced the cheap 'zero delay' encoders and replaced with Ipac2.

Not overly loaded this time, just a good selection of the best titles from each platform 🕹️🕹️

Doing bits today; built up a basic rig for an onging project, this will be paired with a 27" CRT running Batocera OS.

Spec;
CPU - AMD FX 8350
RAM - 32GB DDR3
GPU - AMD Radeon 200 series
SSD - 240gb (boot drive)
HDD - 1TB
PSU - EVGA 650w

AMD Radeon 200 series are compatible with CRTs with the correct driver to output 15khz, so makes for a perfect setup.

Despite not being a modern powerhouse, this will be more than enough for one of our best projects yet 🎯🔫

Happy new year all!

Decided to dig the Rick and Morty bar top out of retirement to play on over the holidays only to find the mainboard had died 😭

Being a bit outdated despite the upgrade earlier in the year, future proofed it with an 8th Gen i7, 16gb DDR4 (with fancy RGB lights) and booting from an M.2 SSD.

Still has the 4gb ATI Radeon GPU which might have to be upgraded down the line.

Bit overkill for Street Fighter 2 but does also run Steam games within its front end.

Next up is the addition of 'Terminator 2D: No Fate' recently released on Steam 👌 be awesome to play on arcade. 🕹️🕹️

Our latest project finished and the best one so far!

We picked this up knowing we had a lot of work to do...

Plenty of hours poured into this...

•LCD screen removed and replaced with an original arcade CRT, also refurbished in house.

•Old control panel removed and replaced with new - Joe created some amazing artwork making it a one of a kind cabinet.

•Metallic professional fighting buttons to complement the artwork.

•Old edging removed, routed out and new bright red edging installed.

•Metal work refurbished (coin door etc)

•Complete rewire to suit new buttons and CRT.

•Glass made for marquee and many other cosmetic touches throughout the cabinet making this iconic game a pleasure to play!

Been a while posting so here's one of our latest projects... We were kindly given this cab for a charity donation, came to us in dire need of TLC and not working.

Turns out it contained the original Atari Tetris arcade game, this also required work due to a missing chip but we managed to source one.

With it's new power supply, board repair and grounding issue sorted on CRT - it looks amazing like the day it was made. We've also added a coin button for free play 🕹️

The Cab itself has had the Joe treatment, new purple edging, all new controls, restoration of control panel and coin door, new panel made for the front of the cab, new locks, full cab cleaned up and Tetris side art added - it's a thing of beauty and we absolutely love it!

Prepping for new edging today on the Supreme cab as demonstrated by the man himself. Mr April 🤣
