For anyone that watches this space still you would have noticed it's been quiet for a long time. Well, I had to down my mixing tools last year as I was unexpectantly made redundant from my job! This was a complete shock but I decided that I needed to refocus on finding a new job and enhancing skills to take into it. I was lucky to find one but it involved me having to spend a lot of my spare time retraining and learning brand new coding methods within JavaScript and TypeScript to take into my new role where knowledge of both was expected from the off.
I had a pretty rough time (I appreciate we all have our personal struggles) but just tried to keep going. I'm gutted as I've missed out on opportunities if I had stayed on track but I made the right choice as who knows where I might have ended up!
I'm just a normal guy anyway that likes to lay down some tunes whenever time allows.
Thanks also to those that stood by me during my difficult period. This is my first techno mix in around 6 months, I can't believe it's been that long! It contains a fair number of tunes I would have intended to play late last year. Expect the usual peak time techno with lots of energy and acid.
