The final total for our Hit The North Diamond Daze Fundraiser is in, we managed to raise £2,314 for the hospice (now known as Moya Cole Hospice was formerly called St Ann's Hospice). Thanks to everyone who came along and donated!

Amazing night at our charity event yesterday. We raised a lot of money for St Ann's Hospice. Thanks to everyone who made it possible, the raffle prize sponsors, the Stretford Ukulele Band, the hard working Prairie Schooner staff, all the DJs, and everyone who came down and helped to make it such a memorable night! Thank you!

The day that has been months in the planning is finally upon us. Here are the headlines for the day:

The DJs start at 1pm. Last orders is 11:30pm and the music will play until midnight, courtesy of Hit The North DJs

There is a pizza deal with Domino's Pizza so you can eat in today, as a one-off - no other takeaways please

10% of every penny taken over the bar today is being donated to the charity

Raffle tickets will remain on sale until 8pm today. The prizes are incredible.

Today is all about St Ann's Hospice, Greater Manchester, so please, dig deep

Last reminder for our charity day tomorrow SAT 20TH SEPT at The Prairie Schooner Taphouse Urmston in aid of St Ann's Hospice. DJs all day from 1pm, the brilliant Stretford Ukulele Band doing their amazing set of indie rock and pop covers, then our indie disco until late. Brilliant raffle prizes to win signed music memorabilia from Doves, Slow Readers Club, Northside and more, gig vouchers, record vouchers, signed books, art prints, beers and more! Plus our own beer for the day 'Diamond Daze Golden Ale' by Brightside Brewing. Come along buy a raffle ticket, enjoy the tunes and help us raise money for St Ann's Hospice.
