On Saturday 29th November our Tea Dance will feature duo Roswell Road - www.roswellroadmusic.com/listen Tickets are £25 each including evening meal, pre-booking required.
On Sunday 30th November our Open Day will be 10-3pm, free entry, no need to book. Dogs on leads welcome. Homemade cakes and refreshments, music from the wonderful Parkulele Players from midday.

We have our Tea Dance this Saturday 25th October and Open Day on Sunday 26th October.
Our Tea Dance features Wayward Jane (www.facebook.com/waywardjane/ and requires pre-booking. Tickets are £25 each including evening meal, guests are welcome to bring their own alcohol. The evening runs from 5.30 - 8.30pm.

Thank you Norman Redhead for providing a talk for the Mellor Archaeological Trust in the Tea Rooms last Sunday reflecting on evidence of activity at Mellor Old Vicarage over the past 8000 years. It was lovely to see the interest in the site and recent publication.
The next talk will be 2.30pm in the Tea Rooms by Peter Noble on 16th November, covering the Bronze Age of the local area. Free event, all welcome.

This Sunday 19th October we will be hosting a talk by archaeologist Norman Redhead, organised by the Mellor Archaeological Trust, covering the archaeology at Mellor Old Vicarage. It is a free event open to all, 2.30pm inside the Tea Rooms at Roman Lakes.

We were blessed with a wonderfully crisp Autumn day last Saturday as we celebrated with a lovely couple surrounded by their their family and friends. There were bright florals mixed with deep greens & food from www.kambujamarple.co.uk & www.thedoughguys.co.uk Thank you for sharing your day with us at the lakes.

Rainy days are pie days. Some pictures from a wedding we hosted a couple of weeks ago which had much rain but also lots of pie and mash, cake and tea and wonderful dancing with a ceilidh. Lovely to be a part of such precious memories for friends and family.

Thank you Ollie Cook of Civic Heritage for providing a talk in the Tea Rooms last Sunday on the recent Roman archaeological dig in Manchester. It was fascinating to hear what lies so close beneath the streets and amazing to see the finds up close. Thank you to everyone who attended the event - the first in a series organised by the Mellor Archaeological Trust.
