Our Tea Dance this Saturday 29th August features US bluegrass performer Michael Prewitt. Booking required. Our Open Day is Sunday 30th August, 10-3pm. Free entry, no booking required. Dogs on leads welcome. Homemade cakes and refreshments available, music from midday with the wonderful Parkulele Players.

We hosted a lovely family party over the weekend with lawn games and BBQ and a wellness event hosted by on Sunday with a sound bath, afternoon tea, painting and yoga.

Michael Prewitt learned to play the mandolin in the hills of East Kentucky, where he soaked up the music of Bill Monroe, The Stanley Brothers, and J.D. Crowe and the New South, before lighting out for the Upper Midwest. He was part of the Grammy-nominated and IBMA award-winning bluegrass band Special Consensus & was personally nominated twice for IBMA Momentum Instrumentalist of the Year while with the band. He pursues a career as a singer-songwriter, fronting his band Michael Prewitt & CrunchGrass Supreme. He lives and teaches in WIlliamsburg, Kentucky.

Fabulous flowers grown by friends in the hills of Wales made this wedding utterly stunning. There was also incredible food by and some truly joyous ceilidh dancing inspired by Our congratulations and best wishes to a wonderful couple
