🌿 A Little Hello 🌿
A quiet hello to new followers, and thank you for being here. I’m not someone who naturally enjoys talking about myself, as I’ve always preferred to let the flowers do the speaking, but a little story feels right.
My journey with flowers began in Covent Garden in 1999 while studying at Central Saint Martins. I went on to study Fine and Decorative Art at Sotheby’s and completed a Master’s at Birmingham University, writing my dissertation on the conservation of historic gardens, a subject that still shapes how I grow and create today.
Alongside floristry, I am also an accomplished printmaker. I have exhibited my work and continue to find inspiration in the forms, textures, and patterns of the natural world. The rhythm of printmaking, much like gardening, teaches patience and observation, both of which influence how I approach my work with flowers.
In 2005, while six months pregnant, I opened Twickel House, a lifestyle shop in Much Wenlock that I ran for ten years. It became part of the local community, so much so that when I later helped establish Twickel Dental in 2008, the name carried on as a symbol of trust and care.
Life took me in other directions too. For several years, I worked internationally in education, travelling alone to places such as Russia and Kazakhstan as an admissions manager. Those experiences taught me resilience, adaptability, and the quiet power of connection.
In 2019, I returned to what had always been my first love, flowers, and founded Little Flower Farm. Since relocating to Herefordshire in 2022, it has become a place where art, horticulture, and life meet, and where everything I’ve learned somehow comes together in the soil.
When I’m not in the field, at the flower table, or in the print studio, you’ll usually find me by the sea, under canvas, or with my family, which includes two grown-up daughters, lovely stepchildren, and two dogs who insist on being involved in everything.
And I couldn’t write any of this without the support, love & huge hugs from the amazing John Grafham ###
Thank you for following, supporting, and sharing in this story. I’m so grateful you’re here. 🌸

A few images of a lovely September wedding at Elmore Court- this was a working collaboration with the amazing Susan Elizabeth Flowers - I adore working with Susan - I first freelanced for her 3 years ago for a wedding at Malvern College - I had only just moved to Malvern & knew no-one - yet she put her trust in me - I’ll be forever grateful….we don’t forget those first customers & colleagues who believed in us. There are many - & I thank you all ###

Sown Locally, Grown Locally

Just a 10 minute drive from Shrewsbury town centre, Little Flower Farm grows and supplies beautiful seasonal flowers and foliage that are free from pesticides, free from air-miles, free from heated greenhouses and free from plastic waste.

Growing our own blooms enables us to offer a range of unusual flowers and foliage that are not readily available at traditional flower markets. We value and celebrate flowers in their natural forms and colours (and perfect imperfections) that change with each season. The farm sits in a woodland surrounding with a small floral studio which inspires and guides the growing and creativity.

Little Flower Farm captures the transient nature & fleeting beauty of flowers and foliage, curating nature to produce untamed floral sculptures that reflect the seasons and treasure the fragile environment they are grown in.

We can also provide blooms for local florists who are looking for individual stems to compliment their work and also local customers who wish to create their own floral visions.
