The Topiary Tree is a unique little flower shop in the heart of Malton. We provide fresh flowers for all occasions, plants galore for the home and garden, sympathy and wedding flowers. We can provide a local delivery service of our own designs, or can provide a national and international service through Direct 2 Florist. We pride ourselves on the quality of our fresh flowers and our personal service. We provide a bespoke wedding and funeral service to suit all tastes and budgets.

A misty start this morning. I can never get over the fact that once upon a time the Romans woke up in this very same space! We will be back at the shop soon making the most of the locally grown flowers which are STILL going strong! Picked & grown by Oksana Shevchenko what a season we have had. MALTON TOWN COUNCIL WANTS A TOWN CRIER!

A TRADITIONAL ROLE. A MODERN COMMUNITY.

MALTON TOWN COUNCIL IS LOOKING TO RECRUIT A VOLUNTEER TOWN CRIER TO REPRESENT AND PROMOTE THE TOWN.

We are seeking an outgoing, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a good command of language and the ability to compose and present proclamations to groups of people.

The successful applicant will be willing to attend events occasionally on weekdays and weekends, during the day or evening, but you would not be called on too frequently, approximately six times per year. Some local travel will be necessary. The post is honorary and unpaid, however, the regalia will be provided and expenses for travel will be considered.

We welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about our community, enjoy public speaking and want to play an active role in local life.
