🌸 Father’s Day Inspiration 🌸

Often, it can be tricky to know what to get the man in your life.

Well, here we have some ideas from the garden and where you can get them locally!!

🌸 Flower of the month - Snapdragons 🌸

Snapdragons are an interesting flower, when looking to arrange with them they’re always the spikey factor.

They’re made up of tiny little flower buds clumped up a beautiful stem to create a gorgeous effect.

They’re annual flowers so will flower the same year they’re planted! However, if left will give you much earlier flowers the following year. Here are some of our snaps from last year!

They smell bluddy delicious, I wish you could smell them. They come in a variety of colours and will self seed if left to their own devices, spreading across your garden!

🌸 Homegrown Bouquets🌸

Here at Honeysuckle Howse, we're all about bright, clashing colours! Right from the beginning of choosing seeds, I am always attracted to those that are colourful.

Within this hand-tied bouquet, the majority are Honeysuckle homegrown! As seen earlier in the week, we have an abundance of purple in the garden in the alliums, which are pairing perfectly with the peonys - again, another pereniel that once planted will give you blooms year after year.

We have also used a few tulips and a little bit of aquilegia to add some filler!

🌸 Bud vases can fit any event 🌸

It is often thought that floral table arrangements are just for weddings. But, they can make any even beautiful.

Adding a gorgeous pop of red and pink to this hen party was such a special touch. On this occasion, it reflected the bridal bouquet of an eloping couple. Allowing friends and family to celebrate closely with them.

🌸 Allium🌸

There's nothing better than pops of purple through the garden.

Alliums provide a huge globe of goodness, made up of teeny tiny little flowers. So intricate and delicate yet, bold and powerful within your flower bed!

Did you know - alliums are perenniel, meaning once planted they return every year without you doing anything!

🌸 About this weekend 🌸

I am absolutely bursting with excitement to show you what we have been up to! I have been so grateful of two handy helpers!!

Sooo many beautiful flowers, hundreds of stems of greenery and thousands of steps, but I am ecstatic with the outcome!

How colourful is the garden looking, I have had the joy of working with homegrown peonys, alliums, ranunculus and geums today. How bluddy lovely!

🌸 Yorkshire grown bouquets 🌸

I cannot believe we're only in May, and I'm already doing humongous bouquets, all homegrown here at Honeysuckle Howse.

These teeny little forget-me-knots enhanced the richness from the peonys and geums perfectly. Along with a mixture of Ranunculus, tulips, and aquilegia.

They smelt incredible!

🌸 Ranunculus 🌸

Having a fresh order of Ranunculus has made me super excited for the 500 that are growing in the poly tunnel !!!!

Swipe to see how they start as a corn, plumped in water, then planted in the autumn. With tender loving care through the chilly months, they'll give me early blooms to share with you 🧡
