Civil Weddings provides personalised ceremonies across Essex and Suffolk: weddings and partnerships, commitment ceremonies, naming ceremonies, and renewals of vows.

As a former registrar based near Maldon in Essex, I create warm, heartfelt ceremonies in licensed and non‑licensed venues — gardens, festival‑style tipis, beaches, or anywhere you’d like your celebration to be. I also support couples wishing to celebrate again with family and friends after a destination wedding.

Wedding Law Reform – Public Consultation Now Open

The Government is asking for public views on proposed changes to wedding law in England & Wales. These reforms could give couples more choice, clearer processes and greater flexibility in how they celebrate.

If you’d like to take part, you can respond through the online questionnaire or by email — whichever suits you best. This consultation closes at 11:59am on 24 September 2026.
