To every attendee, vendor, sponsor, creator, and guest who joined us at The Kent Card Show this weekend, thank you! 🙏
Together, you helped create our biggest show to date. The atmosphere was incredible, the halls were packed, the Kids Zone was buzzing, and the support shown for the hobby was simply amazing.
We do, however, want to address the connectivity issues that affected parts of the weekend.
To the vendors who experienced difficulties, we are genuinely sorry for the frustration this caused. We know how important reliable connectivity is for processing payments, checking prices and buying collections, and we understand how disappointing it is when technical issues arise during a busy event.
As soon as the issues became apparent, we worked continuously with the venue, and external IT specialists to identify the cause and implement solutions. Additional Starlink systems were deployed across the weekend and every effort was made to improve connectivity as quickly as possible. Whilst conditions improved significantly, we fully appreciate that the experience was not what some vendors expected or deserved.
These issues were incredibly disappointing for us too. We invest a huge amount of time, effort and money into every show, and our priority has always been to create the very best experience possible for both vendors and attendees.
Despite the challenges, we have been overwhelmed by the support, understanding and kindness shown by so many vendors. We’ve received countless messages since the show, and many vendors have shared that they enjoyed one of their strongest weekends yet thanks to the record attendance and fantastic community support.
That support means the world to us.
Most importantly, we are already working on a completely new solution for October and will be making significant changes designed to dramatically improve reliability for future events.
We are committed to learning from this experience and making October better than ever.
