I can't quite believe I am saying this but,
✨️✨️✨️IT'S OUR 8TH BIRTHDAY TODAY! ✨️✨️✨️
When I opened my boutique, it was dream come true. For years I had the idea, but it took me a long time to summon the courage and open something that was mine.
And then, just a mere 15 months after our opening day, we went in to our first lock down and I wondered whether we would survive such a crazy time.
But, we came out of the pandemic stronger than before with so much more passion to succeed and serve our brides in the very best way imaginable.
Then, less than I year after returning from the pandemic, I fell pregnant 🙊 and wondered whether the boutique and team could continue without me there at the helm 40+ hours a week.
But, my gorgeous TeamVEB stepped up to the challenge and supported me not only as a boss, but as a new mother (for which I will be eternally grateful). We continued to love doing what we do and navigate the national cost of living crisis, at which point, I thought hey, let's throw another baby in to the mix! 😅
Life is very different to when we opened 8 years ago, but I can honestly say that with everything the universe has thrown at us, it has only made VEB continue to reflect and evolve in to the very best version of itself that we have today.
I have never been more proud of my little boutique and have never been more to driven to achieve it's full potential (because there is stiil SO much I want to do with it).
Thank you to our brides, suppliers, followers, industry friends and my gorgeous, sublime Team VEB for all the support we continue to receive. It truly means so much.
It has been one crazy adventure so far.
