Michael Jackson vs Indeep – “Last Night vs BJ” 🇬🇧
UK white label, BJ001, 2003 — Illicit Remix

The original pressing of the mashup later repressed as “Billie Jean vs Last Night A DJ Saved My Life.” Made in 2003 by UK bootlegger Illicit, with no label or credits — just two versions: the full mashup and a dub.

Indeep’s 1982 “Last Night A D.J. Saved My Life” gets spliced with Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” — two completely different classics brought together on one plate.

Proper bootleg culture. No label, no credit, just a matrix number and a DJ with an idea. 🔥

This week’s dig. German duo DJ Pat Cue & Andreas Kolinski dropped this filtered French-touch gem in 2003. Warm, looped-up disco house with that 2am romantic swing. Everyone chases the A-side but “Mon Amour” is the real sleeper. Cut from the same cloth as Stardust and Alan Braxe. Straight beats for the crate-diggers. 🔥
