Last weekend we had the absolute pleasure of transforming Winters Barns, Canterbury for the beautiful wedding of Emily Flatt & Sam White… who now officially share the incredible surname Flat-White ☕🤍 We honestly couldn’t love that any more if we tried!

Inspired by Emily’s vision of a fun, vibrant and pink wedding, we filled the barn with bold florals, romantic candlelight and modern styling to completely transform the space. From the moment guests walked in, the room was bursting with colour, personality and so much joy – exactly what a summer wedding should feel like.

Seeing months of planning come together into a wedding that feels so uniquely you is why we absolutely love what we do. Every table, every floral arrangement and every styling detail came together to create a celebration that was full of love, laughter and unforgettable moments.

Yesterday was all about bringing weird and wonderful to life. 🌿✨

Our brief? Tropical, playful and completely unforgettable.

Soft blush tones, rich olive greens and just a hint of burgundy came together to create a design that felt wild, elegant and full of personality—perfect for this incredible wedding at Port Lympne.

But this reel isn’t just about the finished look… it’s about everything that happens behind the scenes. The early starts, the teamwork, the laughter, the problem-solving and the moments where we’re genuinely having the best time creating something truly special. Because as much as we love the final reveal, we absolutely love the journey of bringing each couple’s vision to life.

Some weddings just have that effortless feel… and Ellie & Jake’s day at Chapel House Estate was exactly that. Soft whites, delicate touches of blue, natural textures and elegant florals came together to create a timeless, romantic setting that perfectly complemented the venue.

From the statement ceremony urns and meadow aisle flowers to the beautiful reception styling and Ellie’s bouquet, every detail was thoughtfully designed to flow seamlessly throughout the day. Seeing it all come together for such a lovely couple was an absolute pleasure.

Something a lot of people don’t see behind the scenes…

Just before we launched A Touch of Kent, Katie lost 90% of her hearing in one ear after a concussion.

In an industry that’s loud, fast-paced and full-on… it’s something we’ve had to quietly adapt around every single day.

The way we communicate.
The way we work as a team.
Even the side I stand on when we’re talking.

It’s never been about making a thing of it—
just understanding it, and getting on with the job.

And the end result? Exactly as it should be.

Emma & Steven’s day was everything an English garden dream should be… wild, romantic, and full of meaningful blooms 🤍🌿✨

Inspired by country meadows and the bride’s love for her garden, we filled their wedding with some of her most treasured flowers — because when flowers mean something personal, they become so much more than just pretty details.

And the foxgloves… her absolute favourite. The one flower we thought we may not be able to source. Until, just 2 days before the big day, we found them. 🌸

Wedding flowers are beautifully seasonal, which means favourites aren’t always guaranteed — but trust us when we say we will always do everything we can to find your dream blooms (or the closest beautiful alternative).

Thank you Emma & Steven for trusting us with something so special. Your day was pure magic. 🤍

Early starts, full vans, ladders, last-minute tweaks, and a team moving like clockwork to bring it all together. Every stem placed with intention, every detail styled to perfection — all before guests even arrive.

This is the part you don’t see… but it’s where the magic really happens.

We’re not a wedding-a-day company — we take on a limited number of weddings each year so every design gets the attention it deserves.

Some love stories take the scenic route… and honestly, hers deserved nothing less 🤍

From ambulance shifts to aisle moments, from “never happening” to literally eloping to Gretna Green tomorrow… and we couldn’t be prouder of you 🥹

You’ve been through more than most, handled it with strength (and a bit of dark humour), and somehow still ended up here — marrying your person. Turns out the plot twist was worth the wait ✨

It felt very special creating your bouquet… simple, beautiful, and completely you. No fuss, just meaning (and zero bridezilla energy, as expected 😂).

Go get married, soak up every second, and don’t forget… we expect stories when you’re back 👀
