It’s caused quite a stir!

Mainly over its size and cost.

Would you believe that a bouquet like this would likely have been around £500!
Yes it’s tiny but it contains white sweet peas and lily of the valley which are not cheap but oh my.. i bet the smell was worth every penny.

But this isn’t a post about my life decisions.. we haven’t got that long!

This is about my bouquet and more specifically the size and weight of it.

I couldn’t even tell you what was in it but I remember how heavy it was.

Most brides have an idea of if they want something petite and simple or a showstopper.

If you do decide to have a showstopper make use of your bridesmaids and get them to your flower donkey cos you don’t want tired arms on your special day 🤣🤣

After delivering this beautiful wedding today I’m now out of the workshop til Tuesday.
This was a Gorgeous combination of mainly white O’hara roses and blue delphiniums. Very country cottage!
Now I’m looking forward to a few days of doing a very little as possible and recharging a bit.

I remember a few years ago when I’d get a couple of orders a week and looking forward to being busier.. now I have orders most days of one thing or another and it’s hard to believe how far I’ve come in a few years.

And Blooming fabulous is continuing to grow and develop and I’ve got new things up my sleeves that are very exciting.
A little hint is that not everything has to be fresh to be Blooming Fabulous!

🌸 Flower care in warm weather 🌸

It’s going to be a very warm weekend and if you’ve got fresh flowers in the house here’s a few tips to help them through it…

Fresh cold water.. bacteria in the water will develop quicker in the warm weather so change water.

Keep them out of direct sunlight.
If you put them in your windows they’ll soon end up in the bin!

Remove from packaging as soon as possible. Just think how you’d like being wrapped up in a bit of plastic etc for a long period… not so much!

Like we can all agree.. a bit of TLC goes a long way

When is the best time to contact me?

Simple answer… whenever you like.

I know how busy life is and you can be sat there just watching Coronation street and you suddenly remember you need flowers.
We’ve all been there!
