Good afternoon everyone,

Today’s Featured Attendee and Venue Host for Domain Summit Europe 2026 is Nauris Rande, based in Germany and originally from Latvia 🇩🇪🇱🇻
rande is the founder of BitFit, a fitness coaching brand built around training, discipline, nutrition and performance.

But for us, Nauris is also much more than that.

Together with MX12, he helps maintain Die Bitcoin Metropole in Kempten, the Bitcoin-native venue where we are hosting Domain Summit Europe 2026. I would honestly call this a 50/50 effort between them.

Nauris and MX12 are very close friends, almost like inseparable twins. They always seem to travel together, support each other and show up as a team.

Many of you may have already seen Nauris at previous Domain Summits in London. He was always there supporting MX12.

Last year in London, both of them helped us set up the venue, exhibitor tables and banners. And when the team hired for registrations called to say they were not coming, Nauris and MX12 stepped in and helped save the registration process.

That is the kind of support people often do not see, but I never forget.

This year in Kempten, we are not using a hotel ballroom or exhibition hall. We are meeting inside a place with soul, built around Bitcoin, fitness, art, education, community and real conversations.

Sven and Frieda are long-time friends of mine. At Domain Pulse 2025 in Dresden, they even shared part of their exhibitor stand space with me, so I could place a ConsultDomain.de pull-up banner and present the return of the original German domain forum back to the world.

That meant a lot.

Ryan usually makes the market move first.

I won that one.

Soon after, it was Ryan who sold me DNForum.com.

So yes, the modern story of both Acorn Domains and DNForum has Ryan somewhere in the background, probably wearing that famous gold cap and preparing the next deal.

Ryan is spontaneous, fearless and occasionally enjoys poking domain industry OGs on social media, mostly for fun. He is also like a brother to me: someone you can talk with about almost anything, argue with occasionally, and then be completely fine again shortly after.

There is one Ryan rule I have learned:

His first offer is often his strongest.

Reject it, and the next one may be lower.
Reject that, and the next may be lower again.

I have seen Ryan make a multi-million offer for a TLD, and once it was rejected, that seller was never able to get him back to the same number.
