We know what’s standard, what’s reasonable and what can sometimes be questioned.

That matters, because when you’re planning your own wedding, you don’t always know whether a request is completely normal or whether there’s room to push back.

Part of our job is to look at the detail, sense-check it for you and help make sure the arrangements are fair, practical and work for your day.

One of the biggest mistakes we see with dry hire weddings is couples planning every detail of the wedding day, but not giving enough thought to the set-up beforehand.

There can be a lot happening before your guests even arrive.

Furniture deliveries. Lighting. Catering. Toilets. Florists. Signage. Table plans. Styling. Supplier access.

And all of it needs to happen in the right order.

That’s why we can be there the day before to oversee deliveries, coordinate suppliers, make sure everything is where it should be and iron out any last-minute issues before the wedding begins.

We can also run a full rehearsal, so everyone knows exactly where they need to be and when.

One of the signs of a really well-run wedding is that your guests have no idea how much work is happening behind the scenes. 🤍

They won’t notice the timeline being checked, suppliers being coordinated, last-minute changes being handled or all the little details being double-checked throughout the day.

What they will notice is if something isn’t quite right.

Your co-ordinators are the people tying everything together on your wedding day, so you don’t have to. 💕

They’re greeting suppliers as they arrive, making sure everyone has what they need, keeping timings on track and making sure the right people are in the right place at the right time.

They’re watching every little detail, checking in on you throughout the day, making sure you actually eat and handling all the bits you shouldn’t have to think about.

They’re also the people making sure Uncle Pete doesn’t suddenly turn his planned two-minute toast into a 10-minute speech featuring stories from your childhood. 😂

Back in July, Kelly managed Emily and James’ marquee wedding in a field, and this one really shows just how much planning goes into a wedding like this.

With a marquee wedding, there are so many moving parts before the day itself. Deliveries, suppliers, furniture, catering equipment, power, signage, drinks, sound, flowers, toilets and setup all need to happen in the right order.

That’s why our couples have access to their Wedding Dolls portal throughout the planning process. It helps them work through all those details, with our guidance, so by the time the wedding week arrives, we can turn months of planning into one clear timeline.

For Emily and James, that timeline started a whole week before the wedding, helping them organise when everything needed to arrive, when horses needed to be moved (🐴 yes, really!) where supplies needed to go and who needed to be there.

Then, on the day itself, Kelly was there making sure all those plans were followed through. From coordinating suppliers and sound checks to checking the ceremony setup, keeping an eye on the little personal touches and making sure the timings stayed on track throughout the day.

Months of planning, one very detailed timeline, and Kelly there on the day making sure it all came together. She smashed it! 🤍

Whether we’re helping the wedding party with their buttonholes or answering a supplier’s question, we’re right there when we’re needed, so guests and suppliers always know who to turn to.

A little mid-season Dolls night out! 💃🏼✨

A couple of weeks ago, the lovely team at treated us to an evening of burgers, drinks and karaoke. Safe to say, we didn’t need much convincing! 😂

A huge thank you to Jackie and Dave for hosting us and giving the Dolls a chance to get together, let our hair down and enjoy an evening on the other side of an event for once.

Very lucky to work with some brilliant venues and even lovelier people🤍
