What I learnt from working in a Michelin-starred restaurant is that the best experiences don’t feel complicated. They just feel effortless.
And honestly, that’s something I’ve carried with me into the weddings and events I now plan and coordinate.
I love this kind of pre-wedding garden BBQ because it’s relaxed, fun and feels really easy - but there’s still so much thought that goes on behind the scenes to make it feel that way.
The timings, the food, the flow of the evening, making sure everyone has what they need without it ever feeling too formal or structured.
It’s all about those little details that you might never notice, but make such a difference to how the whole experience feels.
For me, that’s what good hospitality is all about.
And I think it’s also why I’m such a fan of a wedding weekend.
A welcome supper, the wedding day, a recovery brunch… more time together, more memories and more opportunities to just enjoy it all. 🥂🌿
Would you have a pre-wedding BBQ like this?
And if you know a couple who would love this kind of wedding weekend, send this their way. 🤍
