After the Great Mug Debate of 2025, Katie and Neil returned from IKEA with a van full of goodies and meatball-fuelled determination.

Not only do we now have a beautiful, bright space for our colleagues to enjoy their lunch breaks, we also have a new toaster so shiny it practically blinds you, enough teaspoons for everyone (yes, it is something to celebrate!) and a dishwasher! Let's hope all crockery actually makes its way INTO the machine, rather than being placed on the counter in neat little piles.

From comprehensive risk assessments and method statements to construction and dismantle phase plans, we provide a full breakdown of the work we undertake. We also include our health & safety mission statement, outline our materials and safety procedures, provide details on working at height, and supply proof of insurance, so you don’t have to chase a single thing.

Intricate designs and big builds? Absolutely no problem at all. Agreeing on what colour our new mugs should be? An almost impossible challenge!

We’re giving our office kitchen a much-needed refresh to create more space and a welcoming place for our team to sit and enjoy their lunch.

This week, our Commercial Director Neil and Marketing & Project Manager Katie took a trip to IKEA to tackle the ultimate task of finding the perfect kitchen utensils to match our new space. Obviously they treated themselves to the obligatory portion of meatballs!

We're excited to bring a little more comfort and brand personality into our day-to-day and can’t wait to show you the final look!

A simple, effective statement that draws a crowd.

And who doesn't love a freebie? Especially when it's coffee! What makes barista-made coffee, rather than a pod machine or filter coffee, such a clever exhibition strategy is the fact that people are more likely to engage when they feel relaxed and welcomed. A good coffee can help open up conversations that wouldn’t happen in a colder sales setting.

We’ve gone electric… again ⚡

We’ve had an electric forklift in the Apex warehouse since 2016, but our previous lead-acid model "Old Bessie" has officially retired. At least from our premises, as we're pleased to say that she was traded in, so Old Bessie will be serviced and reused!

In her place is a brand-new lithium-powered forklift that’s much, MUCH faster to charge, simpler to run, and just as committed to helping us do our bit for the planet while keeping things moving behind the scenes. And as you can see, we're really happy about this newbie!

If we had one complaint, it would be that it still hasn’t figured out how to make a brew or deliver lunch. We’ll give it time.

Sustainability is already a big focus for us when it comes to designing and building top-quality exhibition stands, and we’re proud to extend that thinking across our day-to-day operations too.

When we received the brief from NICEIC & ELECSA, they specifically wanted a modular solution that could flex across eight events throughout the year. A sustainable solution delivering consistent impact.

So we built exactly that.

A modular structure that can scale from 6m² to 120m², depending on the event.
A design that separates retail and information zones.
High-level backlit branding, interactive screens, walk-in storage, and configurable POS units. All built to last.
