The sun keeps on shining. We are in full swing of bedding season now, the weather is so nice we have even managed to get it outside. More vegetable plants, lots more tomatoes, herbs, summer bedding plants and more perennials in this week.
We also had a few visitors including the ducks🦆 that nest in the conifer hedge every year and we had to rescue one from the till area and reunite it with its mother, 10 ducklings running around the garden centre, but luckily the mother managed to round the rest up to take down to the river.
Always lots to keep us busy. ☀️

The sun ☀️ has been shining and we have been kept busy with lots of deliveries arriving too. This week we have had lots more herbs, vegetable plants, wild flowers, streptocarpus in the houseplant greenhouse, climbers and the start of our bedding plants in trays and single pots have started to arrive!
Our anemone nemorosa are giving us a beautiful display in our bed too.
Now I can’t wait to enjoy the sun in the garden.

Another busy week. The sunny as been shining and we are in full swing getting ready for the spring. Arrived this week- a flower delivery with some very bright gerberas, houseplants, herbs, bulbs, perennials, plant pots and plant supports and a few thousand plugs for us to plant to grow on for our summer bedding. ☀️

We are loving Fritillaria meleagris commonly known as snake’s head fritillary this month.
A striking early spring flowering bulb, with its nodding head and snake like pattern on its delicate flower. Grows best in semi shade or sun in a moist spot, reaching up to 30cm in height.

Also our primulas and houseplants are still giving us a good show. 🌺
