Fun project in the works this week... 🎨✨

In just a few days, these splodges of paint will transform into a brand-new collection of mini freestanding vases. Think bold stripes, scallops, and joyful phrases.

The goal is to create a little pop of permanent colour that feels right at home on a cozy shelf or styling up a workspace. 🩷

After my technical marathon setting up the laser cutter, getting the paints out and playing with print has been an absolute breath of fresh air. 🎨👩🏼‍🎨

My colour palette seems to have been heavily influenced by this week's snack of choice... Any guesses what I've been inhaling by the gallon? 😅🌞👀

Sorbet restocked! 🍦🍦🍦

Cute muted pastel blooms in our custom happy postal packaging. 🩷

This colour has been popular lately. I've just popped a couple more pieces the website for anyone that's been after one ☺️

What do I make? 🪚🪵

I make wooden forever flower arrangements. 💐🫶🏼 3D blooms designed as unique statement decor pieces that bring a happy pop of colour to your space.

(I also make a messsss. There's a heck of a lot of wood shavings, paint, and all that jazz involved in the process! 😅)

Each bloom starts life as a freehand illustration before being transformed into a stylised 3D sculpture made from sustainably sourced Maple and Poplar wood. I design the bouquets with a mix of focal flowers, filler, and foliage to create a well-balanced piece of floral art. 👩🏼‍🍳👌🏼

They arrive in beautiful packaging designed to make you smile from the moment the postman knocks - and for years to come. 📦💐 Bouquet prices start at £52

I'd love to know which colour is your fave? I’m a sucker for a red and pink combo right now, so that's the one for me! 💕👇🏼

Happy Ever After Flowers 🌸✨

"Trial & Error" - my entire business journey in a nutshell really! 🤣

As a former desk-based graphic designer, I had no clue how to use any of the tools and machines that now grace my workshop. Just a wild idea and a lack of sleep sent me on this quest that has become such a big part of my life. 🧭🥾

There is still a constant stream of error (ask me about the time I had the lathe on backwards for five hours... 🫠), but what I have noticed is my confidence in my ability to figure things out has grown enormously. 🌱🫶🏼

...and if the wooden flower thing doesn't work out, I think you'll agree Hollywood needs me 🤣

Hope you like the blooms! The color featured here is Satsuma 🍊

My business, Poppily, is a little wooden florist. I make statement bouquets of handmade wooden flowers that are delivered in the post in lovely gift packaging. Always in bloom 💐

A little behind the scenes assembling a wooden daisy. 🌼

I've made lots of these happy little flowers over the last few months for markets and events. Popping them onto the website this week for anyone that fancies one 💕

A big hello for Day 1 of ! 👋🏼💐

I’m Nat, the face (and dusty hair) behind Poppily. I make wooden Happy-Ever-After flowers for people who love blooms but hate watching fresh ones die in a vase. 💀🥀 (Self-confessed flower-crier here!)

Poppily will be 2 this Easter and my human baby, Jonah, will be 6 soon after. This little business dream comes with a lot of different hats to wear, both literally and figuratively and I’m still learning to juggle them all. (Just wait until you see my dust filtration mask 🔥) Social media definitely isn't my forte so I'm using the challenge this month to kick start the habit 🤞🏼

From someone who could barely put up a shelf a couple of years ago to now having a workshop full of power tools it's been quite the learning curve! 🎢🫠 Let's see how I fare with my latest nemesis... a huge laser cutter that came with a German instruction manual. 🤦🏼‍♀️🍿🤣

Stick around to see how a block of wood becomes a beautiful bloom. 🌼🌷🪻

Howdy friends! I took some time away from socials over the last few weeks. In truth I was a bit frazzled after a hectic Christmas and needed a little reset. 🫠 Feeling refreshed after a gentle start to the new year so here's a little life update from the last few weeks 🩷 Hope you're all well and being kind to yourself 😘 ###

1. December was all about the markets. Loved meeting so many of you - totally filled my cup! 💐🫶🏼

2. Lots of late nights packing orders and making mistletoe! 🙏🏼

3. The best week at Haddon Hall Mercatum. They sold out of visitor tickets early so definitely pop it in your calendar for next year. It had the loveliest stalls and the best Christmas vibes! (Even a real robin singing in the parlour I kid you not!!!)

4. Once Poppily closed for Christmas we squeezed in a family weekend in Chester. Jonah took this photo of us. Thanks pal 😂

5. Cute Christmas - 5 is such a gorgeous age 🥹

6. We got the ferry to Galway for a couple of nights over NYE for a family wedding. Loved the gothic quarter especially this shop! 😍

7. Wedding started well...

8. Ended less well. Jonah fell awkwardly and broke both bones in his forearm during the welcome drinks & canapes 😭 We spent NYE in Galway A&E and poor kiddo had to have general anaesthetic to realign the bones the next day. Came home in a full arm cast that we've nicknamed cheesy G because if he hugs you it's like being attacked by a cheese grater.

9. Closed the door on my horribly messy studio over Christmas so i spent some time this month cleaning and refreshing our space. (Including essential new house piff paff 🏡)

10. 🧘🏼‍♀️Self care. Is there anything better for the soul than cuddling guinea pigs?

11. Excited to finally be able to buy my own laser cutter for the workshop! Getting it delivered next week 🥳

12. Spending some time being creative. Exploring bigger, bolder plywood blooms 🌹

13. Enjoying playing about with linocut printing. Hoping to add Poppily floral prints to the collection this year 🤞🏼💐
