Would you like to start growing flowers but don’t know where to begin? Then join me for a a morning of sowing seeds ans learning together.

I’ll talk you through how to grow flowers from seed and how to care for them. I’ve curated a lovely selection that will provide you with flowers throughout Summer. Everyone will sow a mix of hardy and half-hardy annual seeds to take home and nurture. No prior knowledge or experience is required.

We’ll be learning in a small group with plenty of tea and cake and sharing what we grow here on the flower farm in Macclesfield.

A few people asked for another virtual session of the "Planning your growing for flower farmers" workshop. This is now live for 4th March.

Ever wanted an inside look at how someone else manages their growing or new to flower farming? This workshop will talk you through how we plan our crops, maximise our space and optimise production, as well as the tools and information you can use to do it yourself.

The workshop includes:
- A virtual tour of our growing spaces
- How to decide what to grow
- Mapping your space
- Planning crops and using a spreadsheet tool
- Maximising your germination rate and seed starting
- Planning successions
- Optimising production

You will also receive an electronic version of our planning spreadsheet - usually £10.

We’ll be learning in a small group and limit spaces to 8 per workshop to give everyone room to ask questions.
