Read to the end…

Stacy may have been surprised to come away with First Prize but the whole team here were utterly delighted for her! Just as nerve-wracking - talking to camera to a local journalist!

We’ve loved watching Stacy come out of her shell since she joined…

Well done Stacy,

From the rest of the friendly bunch
at Bond & Bloom!!

PS: Do you have a colleague or friend who has pushed out of their comfort zone to challenge themselves?

Tell us about them in a comment - our favourite will win a bouquet!!

We’re absolutely delighted to share that our very own Stacy Felton has won First Prize for her wrist corsage and buttonhole design at the Southport Flower Show 2026, bringing home The Piggott Brothers Trophy for her winning entry!

We’re incredibly proud of Stacy. Southport Flower Show has such a wonderful tradition of celebrating horticulture and floral talent, so to see one of our own florists taking First Prize is a very special moment for all of us at Bond & Bloom.

A huge congratulations Stacy — very well deserved!.

Thank you to Brooklands House Care Home for your lovely welcome this week, when we hosted a flower arranging workshop. A hands-on sensory class for residents.

Everyone also enjoyed seeing some of our floral creations for the Lytham 1940s Weekend - we had a good laugh - and we also took along the gorgeous Bond & Bloom inspired painting by Jules Rigby pastel & acrylic art.

We look forward to returning in the Autumn!

If you would like to be included in our care home classes or demonstrations, please email the Bond & Bloom team - [email protected].

W O R K E X P E R I E N C E

We have had the pleasure of welcoming 3 delightful work experience students into the florist shop this Summer:

Sofia joined us from Lerum Gymnasium in Sweden for Lytham Club Day and our Lonely Bouquet (“Please Take Me”) event. She was marvellous helping with the window display, and coming up to Lytham Hall to collect a trophy from the lovely Club Day folk for our efforts! She helped to make the arrangements then sketched images of some of the bouquets we hid around the town for people to find.

Lily (what a great name) joined us during Lytham Festival week, and worked really well, learning to make a bouquet, introduced us to TikTok, made a wreath and helped to condition flowers, dodging the crowds which came to town. Lily is a student at Saint Bede's, Lytham and was a credit to them.

Tana joined us for the 1940s weekend, making cupcakes out of flowers, taking photographs for social media and helping with front of house, dressed as a landgirl! Tana is a student at St. Anne's College Grammar School and was a credit to them.

Well done all of you! Just as you were learning and experiencing, the team here stepped up too to show you the ropes, so everyone developed as well as having fun!!

Every day, even at work, is a school day, where we learn, have fun, and try something new! (And pick up a broom!)

We are proud of all three of you.

Good luck in your next year…

Lots of best wishes for the future,

Suzanne, Angela, Katie, Beverley, Stacy and Neil at Bond & Bloom.
