Great to see such an engagement from the village on this despite the lack of publicity. I did query it as a resident and was told everyone was sent a leaflet and delivery was logged by the company delivering them, usually by bodycam. It should have arrived at least 2 weeks before the meeting.

If it was you that drove into our railings in front of the pavilion we would appreciate you coming forward to save our time searching and saving the CCTV then reporting to the police to trace the car owner. Our volunteers time is valuable.....

Our relocated flag pole looks great and our anniversary banners are up for our anniversary...
Some people tell us "I never knew you were here". We're here, with activities throughout the week and availability at the weekend for hire. Plus we have a small room available which is ideal for business meetings and one to one activities. Tell your friends!!!

Sad to see the small children's play area vandalised last night. We will be checking the CCTV and hopefully will identify the person responsible.
I hope you're pleased to have damaged something that gives pleasure to do many youngsters if it was you. Not only has it spoiled children's fun it will also take up village funds to have it cleaned.

New disabled access finished. Thanks to all who helped, the parish council and Hordle pavilion for donating the ramp and Richard Thomas carpentry for doing the decking.
As part of our 40th anniversary we will be looking at further accessibility upgrades later in the year

oops! Ignore the previous post....
All club days are saturdays, never sunday! Mistakes can appear as fast as weeds, so don't "shoot" the messenger, eagle eyed folks "root" them out for us so we can avoid them "cropping" up in future.

at the pavilion for 2026. Have you seen the beginning of our planting in the rec for pollinators and birds as part of the parish greening campaign?

The rain may have meant a late start to planting your broad beans but we're back for 2026!

While housing is necessary the latest plans are perhaps far too large a scale for our village. Have your say, for or against. For the pavilion any development that has a new village "hub" and shops would be detrimental to our shop, the pavilion and the church hall.
