✨ TOP TIPS FOR STALLHOLDERS AT EVENTS ✨

A successful event starts long before you arrive on the day!

📣 Tell people you’re attending
Don’t assume your followers know where you’ll be. Share the event regularly on your social media and let people know you’ll be there. If people are interested in your products or services, they’ll often make a special trip to come and see you.

💬 Use the Facebook Event Discussion Section
If the event has a Facebook Event page, make the most of it! Introduce yourself, share photos of your products, explain what you’ll be offering and let visitors know about any special offers, demonstrations or treatments available on the day.

🌿 Be approachable
Smile, make eye contact and say hello to people walking past. A warm welcome can turn a browser into a customer.

🙋‍♀️ Stand up whenever possible
Visitors are far more likely to approach you when you’re standing and engaging with people rather than sitting behind your table.

📱 Don’t hide behind your phone
Customers can feel reluctant to interrupt if you’re busy looking at your screen. Stay present and available whenever possible.

🛍️ Presentation matters
A clean tablecloth, attractive displays and clear signage make a huge difference. Think about what catches the eye from across the room.

🤝 Network with other stallholders
Many collaborations, referrals, friendships and future opportunities are created at events. Take time to chat and support fellow exhibitors.

🏷️ Make pricing clear
Visible pricing helps customers feel comfortable browsing and makes purchasing decisions easier.

💳 Be payment ready
Make sure your phone is fully charged and you have a charger or power bank with you. Don’t forget a cash float too.

🥪 Plan ahead for food and drinks
It’s a long day! Check whether food and refreshments are available at the venue or nearby. Bring snacks and water just in case.
